Terms of use

The service

DestekBotu is software that lets businesses answer customer messages on WhatsApp and the web using AI. It answers from the material the customer supplies.

The service is sold to businesses only. A valid tax number and trading name are required at checkout.

Licence

The licence is bought with a single payment and does not expire. There is no monthly fee, subscription or renewal.

On payment the licence belongs to the purchasing business. Every right to use the product is theirs, and the licence is not revocable other than under the termination clause below.

Use is not capped by number: users, bots, connected channels, entries taught to the bot and messages answered are all unlimited.

The material taught to the bot, the conversation records and the bot’s configuration belong to the customer. They can download or delete them at any time from the Settings screen.

AI model fees are not part of the licence. The bot runs on the customer’s own OpenAI account and model charges are billed straight to it. That is what makes a single payment possible.

The licence is granted to the purchasing business. It cannot be transferred, rented, resold or sub-licensed.

Updates are included. The scope of the service may change over time; customers are notified in advance of any material reduction in existing functionality.

Trial

Every new account receives a 14-day trial. The whole product is available during it, subject to fair-use limits.

When the trial ends nothing is deleted; only the live messaging channel is switched off.

Customer responsibilities

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the material they give the bot.

The customer is responsible for the lawfulness of communication carried out through the WhatsApp number they connect. Meta bills the customer for WhatsApp messages directly.

The service may not be used for misleading or unlawful purposes, or in ways that infringe the rights of others.

Data processing

For personal data belonging to the customer’s end users, the customer is the controller and DestekBotu the processor. This section stands as the data processing agreement between the parties.

Data is processed only on the customer’s instructions and only to provide the service. It is not used for any other purpose, not sold to third parties, and not used to train AI models.

Staff with access are under a duty of confidentiality, and access is limited to what the work requires.

Sub-processors are listed by name in the privacy policy; the customer is told before a new one is added to that list.

The customer can download and delete their data themselves from the Settings screen. They may also ask us to export or delete it during the agreement and for a reasonable period after it ends; we do so unless a legal retention obligation says otherwise.

The customer may request reasonable information to verify that processing follows these terms.

AI output

The bot generates answers from the material the customer supplies. Answers are not guaranteed to be correct, complete or fit for a particular purpose in every case.

Answers on legal, medical, financial or similar specialist matters are not advice. The customer is responsible for human oversight in such cases.

Availability

The service depends on third parties — AI providers, WhatsApp infrastructure and hosting. DestekBotu is not liable for outages originating with them.

Planned maintenance is announced in advance.

Limitation of liability

Total liability is limited to the licence fee paid by the customer concerned.

No liability is accepted for indirect loss, lost profit, lost business or loss of data.

Termination

The customer may close their account at any time. The licence fee already paid is not refunded.

Accounts may be suspended or closed for material breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England have jurisdiction.

Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
